The photocell can be put on the camera's hot shoe or on a light stand with the 1/4" thread. Wirelessly triggers Sony/Minolta system reporter lights. It works in a slave mode, triggered by another flashlight. Does not require batteries or any other power source.

The photocell allows the flashguns to be used in studio to illuminate the scene. The first flash triggers the impulse.

The photocell with a flashgun can be also put on the camera's hot shoe. Of course, the automatic functions are not supported.
