The brand new Samyang 8mm AE fish-eye f/3.5 Aspherical IF MC lens keeps the professionality level of its predecessor, but it has been improved with a new electronical system that provides the parameters control from the camera. The microprocessor works with all Nikon DSLRs transmitting the exposure and focal length parameters information. The lens has been also made compatible with the i-TTL system. The parameters are written in the EXIF data.

Description:

The Samyang 8mm f/3.5 fish-eye type lens of 180 degrees angle of view (for APS-C, no vignetting involved).

Provides extraordinary parameters and great pictures quality. Indispensable complement for many photo shoots, i.e. weddings. A few photos with unusual perspective will make the wedding album much more interesting.

The lens has been designed to obtain the 180 degrees angle of view for the APS-C sensor format DSLRs (i.e. Canon 550D, Nikon D90, Sony A350). It allows to create outstanding panoramic frames. The fish eye effect gives the creative photographers new possibilities of expression. To achieve the high quality of pictures the lens has been made with 7 groups of 10 anti-reflex multicoated elements and a hybrid aspherical lens.

The lens is produced with a high level of quality, no worse than those of Canon or Nikon. It is equipped with a brass bayonet. All the optical elements are made of top quality glass and covered with anti-reflex multicoats. One aspherical lens and 6-blades aperture included.
