The YongNuo YN-468 camera flash is the improved version of YN-465 and 467, its widely appreciated predecessors. It has been enriched with the following functionalities: the strobe mode, manual focus control and the LCD display.

It has an in-built photocell so in the S1 mode it is triggered with other flash, even the pop-up one. In the S2 mode it can be triggered by pop-up lamps that emit the preflashes because it does not react to them.

The flashgun can work in the following modes:

• TTL: automatic camera control mode
• M-Mode: the flash output can be set manually
• Multi: the strobe mode - the flashes number, frequency and duration can be set manually
• S1: slave mode - triggering by another flash
• S2: pre-flash slave mode - triggering by another flash neglecting the pre-flashes

When put on a bracket next to the camera, it perfectly supports the pop-up lamp in difficult lighting conditions. Can be also placed on a light stand in a big distance from the camera to illuminate the further parts of the scene.
Used as a side light, it improves creativity.

The main advantage of the YN-468 II camera flash is its big functionality. That is because the flash head can be swivelled and bounced in a full range which allows full control over the flash light's direction. The light can be then directed where it works best illuminating the current scene.
