The Yongnuo ST-E2 is a wireless transmitter for operating the Speedlite system flashes or groups of flashes. Fully functional replacement for the Canon ST-E2.

Works in the TTL, E-TTL, E-TTL II flash measuring systems. Compatible with the Canon Speedlite 550EX, 430EX, 430EX II, 580EX, 580EX II, YongNuo 565EX camera flashes.

The transmitter should be put on the Canon camera's hot shoe.

Infrared operation, the ST-E2 additionally supports the autofocusing. Provides exposure compensation control for each of the 4 available channels, between the A and B groups. Can also transmit the C group settings from the cameras that support the C group operation.
