This type of reflector modifies the flash light. It is excellent as diffuser so it works great in portrait photography. The beauty dish is made entirely of aluminum which makes it very light. The inner surface is covered with a special reflecting layer.

The beauty dish is equipped with Bowens mount so it is compatible with many studio monolight strobes, i.e. the CY, F&V Fighter, Quantuum, PowerLux series.

Along with the dish come:

Diffuser - additionally softens the light
Honeycomb - directs and narrows the light beam
Easy on/off.
